I’ve never been particularly interested in the obvious. I’m curious about what sits behind it, what shapes the way people think and behave, what accumulates silently beneath a composed exterior, and what might be missed when we look at someone from only one angle.

I saw it across two decades in corporate and entrepreneurial life. In high-achieving women carrying invisible weight. In leaders navigating the quiet erosion of midlife while maintaining the appearance of someone who has everything under control. Some of these people left their mark on me, not because of what they had achieved, but because of what they were carrying, largely alone, and largely unseen. What struck me most was not the weight itself. It was the absence of anything adequate to meet it.

The world’s most capable people have access to excellence in every domain of their lives, except this one. The support available for their interior life rarely matches the complexity of who they are, what they carry, or the privacy and intelligence they Deserve.

In my forties, I returned to academia, eight years of study in psychology, including a Bachelor of Applied Social Sciences cum laude, a Bachelor of Psychology Honours, and postgraduate clinical psychology research at the University of Cape Town, to understand, rigorously, what genuine restoration requires. What emerged was Healing Destinations.

I built a world-class clinical task force: specialists across psychiatry, clinical psychology, functional medicine, neuroscience, relational therapy, and ecopsychology, assembled with precision around one person at a time, within landscapes that are themselves part of the medicine. Every engagement is held to a standard of care that we measure, monitor, and take responsibility for beyond Departure.

The people we work with carry more than personal weight. Restoring one person, at sufficient depth, is never only a private act. It is a contribution to the world they Inhabit.
